Roman Blinds Leeds and Yorkshire

Roman Blinds

Roman blinds are a type of window covering used to block out the sun. Romanblinds differ from standard blinds in that they stack up evenly when being opened. When they are open they are visibly smooth, not bumpy or ribbed like other blinds.

Roman blinds are usually opened with a cord or string, allowing the user to adjust how much of the window is covered. In typical construction, cords run vertically on the outdoor side of the blind running through evenly spaced horizontal stiffener rods or eyelets, and attached at the bottom of the blind. In this case, the open part of the blind remains smooth, while the bottom is stacked evenly.
